The elements around us contribute unique tactile sensations, nourishment, and vision, shaping life in all its forms. They range from natural constructs to human-made ones, influencing, altering, and even sustaining life. From cells and microbes to air, mist and light, from trees and soil to water, the tapestry extends to include human-generated products like cars, tools, alloys, and synthetic materials. Each element plays a role in the ongoing transformation and interconnection of our bodies and the environment. This dynamic landscape represents how these elements coexist—both independently and intricately.
In this project, I explore the convergence of 'living things' and their narratives. The work offers a site-specific perception of the rhythmic pulse and fluidity of life. It is inspired by the integration of natural forms and organic materials, blending visible and inverted representations of living entities. This includes references to the structures of neurons, blood vessels, and tree branches, as well as topographic patterns, river flows, and hybrid AI-generated landscapes. My video seeks to balance the interconnectedness of nature, reflecting natural processes and rhizomatic forces, suggesting a profound connection to our ever-evolving environment.
My goal is to convey the interconnectedness of 'living things,' inviting viewers into a space that encourages effortless exploration and transformation. Through the immersive nature of the materials, viewer's interaction, a new perception of the body and mind arises, propelled by the formative energy of the installation. The site becomes an active force, not just shaped by but co-productive in enabling social worlds, human life, and the tacit experiences that resonate with the viewer.
